Reiki Session Exeriences

People who have never experienced a Reiki session frequently ask me what they can expect to experience while I work on them. Well, as clients and my students have reported to me, the exeriences vary greatly. 

At the beginning of the session, I have my clients relax their clothing if necessary, remove their shoes, and then lay down on the massage table. For my clients comfort, I generally cover them with either a sheet or a light blanket. I also play music designed to help the client relax.

During the session, I may gently place my hands on or above the client's Chakra centers. I may also work on the client's energy field from within a few inches to several feet from the client. Within a short time, my clients close their eyes. After the session, I may ask my clients about their experiences during the sessions.

Over the last 24 years that I have worked as a Reiki Master, my Reiki clients have reported many different experiences.  Client's have described experiencing intense heat comming from my hands.  Others described the sensation of feeling numerous hands on their bodies - yet were surprised to see me standing several feet away and no one touching them when they opened their eyes in response to that experience. Some report floating with no physical constraints nor pain. Then there are those who describe unique dream experiences where they received answers to personal and business questions.  

Some clients or students call to follow up with me after the individual sessions or after seminars to describe how Reiki benefited them (usually at the time they re-book for follow up sessions or classes). My clients have reported increases in their their business income and client bases after the Reiki sessions.  Interestingly, when they stopped the Reiki sessions, some clients reported declines in customer numbers and income back to their prior pre-Reiki levels. Clients have also reported positive changes in their health and wellness.

One thing I have noticed though: each client describes unique experiences during a Reiki session.

Karma and the New Year

Consider your Karma while setting your goals for the new year.  Karma essentially is the principle that each person is rewarded or punished in one incarnation according to that person's deeds in the previous incarnation. 

To improve one’s Karma, align yourself to peace, calm centeredness, and balance your desires.  When making your New Year's resolution remember your intent is important.  It has been written that “we shall reap what we sow.”  So while you are pondering your New Year's resolution remember that what we give out we get back.  Therefore think about how to live the rest of your life in appreciation, giving, peace, and love when you set your resolutions, and then follow them.

As a full time Reiki practitioner for 23 years, I have met many people who experienced difficulty dealing with their Karma. Reiki and Esoteric Healing can help. A properly trained, certified, and experienced  Reiki Master can help people clear certain undesirable Karmic energy patterns.
